The Phan Club

The Phan Club is a extraordinary ensemble coming from the best musicians at Sac State, together to play a collection of great jazz tunes!

Created by the students at Sac State, the Phan club consists of Mason Head (Trumpet), Jayden McCain (Tenor Sax), Parker Weis (Tenor Sax), Chet Chwalik (Piano), Andrew Mendoza (Bass), and Steven Phan (Drums). This large ensemble has performed around Sacramento including the Capistrano Music Hall.

Individually each of these musicians have contributed greatly to Sacramento’s music scene, and to see these great musicians together will be a night that cannot be missed. The Center for Musical Arts is proud to present this outstanding group with our “At the Center” concert series.

The Center for Musical Arts proudly presents our “at the Center” concert series, where our goal is to give Sacramento musicians the event space they deserve. Music school by day, concert venue by night—our listening room features a stage, baby grand piano, and an intimate 30-seat capacity.
