Sacramento's historic community quilt—made for the nation's centennial in 1876 and discovered at First United Methodist Church after 40 years in storage—goes on display at 101 I Street starting August 14. The quilt features over 500 names of early Sacramento residents; the exhibit includes enlarged images and QR codes connecting each block to historical records.
