Oil Painting for Beginners: Jellyfish

In this guided oil painting class, students will learn how to sketch a subject, create a striking composition, and explore oil painting materials and techniques. All skill levels are welcome.

Enjoy the subtle transparencies, colorful patterns and playful gestures as we paint jellyfish together.

All materials are provided, just bring your creativity.

Instructor Bio:

Emma Brown is an artist, educator, and author. She grew up in the Bay Area, got her BFA from Cooper Union in New York City, and is now a practicing Artist in Sacramento.

She has exhibited her artwork in California, New York and Texas. She is a member of the Artist’s Collaborative Gallery in Old Town Sacramento and a published children’s book author and illustrator.

She has been teaching for 6 years and is excited to share her knowledge and experiences with you at the Learnery.
