About the event

Sacramento's Community Quilt Exhibit opens August 15 at 101 I Street. The quilt, stored for over 40 years, features more than 500 names written on squares and was made for the nation's centennial in 1876.

The exhibit includes enlarged images, QR codes linked to each block, and stories of contributors to early Sacramento.
