Tropeycalia Club artists John Yoyogi Fortes, Carlo Ricafort, and Juan Carlos Quintana discuss their exhibition "Título Salvaje ⇄ Salvaged Title" at the Library Gallery (6000 J Street) on September 24 at 5 p.m. The talk covers their work in painting, mixed media, and installation informed by Brazil's 1960s Tropicália movement, and themes of colonialism, identity, and cultural sovereignty. Free and open to the public.
