About the event

This four-day intensive workshop introduces participants to the complete process of creating a two-part plaster mold for ceramic applications. Through demonstrations and guided hands-on work, participants will learn how to evaluate forms, identify parting lines and undercuts, properly prepare objects, and safely mix and pour plaster.

The extended format allows time for curing, troubleshooting, and refinement, culminating in a finished, functional two-part mold. The final day includes a demonstration of basic casting or press-molding techniques, along with guidance on drying, storage, and future use.

This workshop is ideal for beginners and intermediate ceramic artists interested in replication, multiples, and expanding their studio practice.
