About the event
Sacramento's Community Quilt Exhibit opens September 2 at 101 I Street. The quilt—discovered at First United Methodist Church after 40 years in storage—features over 500 names from 1876, when it was made to mark the nation's centennial.
The exhibit includes enlarged images and QR codes linking to each block for genealogy research.
