Art Experiences in the 16M Arts District

Grab your headphones and get ready to dance under the stars at this month’s free Midtown Second Saturday Signature Event, a silent disco taking over Government Alley (behind the Mansion Apartments) from 8:00 to 10:00 p. m.

Sac, this no-cost dance party sits right in the heart of the 16M Arts District, along the route of the district’s growing Mural Trail, so come early to explore the vibrant new murals before the beats begin. Live art by Mars Perkins will bring an extra layer of creative energy to the night, making it the perfect spot to soak in Midtown’s art, music, and community spirit all in one place.

While the dance floor is open to everyone at no charge, a limited VIP experience is available while supplies last, featuring a wine pour from Acheson Wine and soft serve from Maria’s Paella. VIP access is extended to three groups: residents of 16M apartment communities—including The Mansion, Mod at Midtown, Studio 30, Eleanor H16, The Grace, or Lavender Courtyard—with proof of residency; ticket holders for any upcoming Broadway Sacramento show with proof of ticket; and any attendee who makes a $20 or greater donation to Midtown Parks on site at the event.
