About the event

Sacramento History Museum opens "Play Ball! Sacramento in the National Pastime," a new exhibit on the city's 175 years of baseball history at 101 I Street.

On display through October 18, 2026, it features uniforms, equipment, photographs, and memorabilia from Gold Rush-era teams to present day. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
