“Help Wanted / Leave Now” Mass Deportation Exhibit

Help Wanted / Leave Now" at the California Museum examines a century of U. S.

recruitment and deportation of Mexican workers, anchored in the 1950s "Operation Wetback" campaign. The bilingual exhibit runs through January 10, 2027, at 1020 O Street, and includes firsthand accounts, photographs, and historical artifacts.
