Sacramento's Community Quilt Exhibit opens Sept. 29 at 101 I Street.
The quilt, discovered at First United Methodist Church after 40 years in storage, bears over 500 names from 1876 and celebrates the nation's centennial. The exhibit includes enlarged images and QR codes linking to each block's history.
