About the event
A community quilt with over 500 names—made for the nation's centennial in 1876 and rediscovered at First United Methodist Church—goes on display at 101 I Street starting September 16. The exhibit includes enlarged images of the quilt blocks and QR codes linking to information about the people whose names appear on it.
