SAC_AF is excited to present SKETCHTEMBER, a dynamic month-long program celebrating the art of architectural sketching. Throughout September, daily sketching prompts will be posted through our Instagram feed that spotlight the rich and diverse architectural treasures found across the Sacramento region.

From historic landmarks to modern marvels, SKETCHTEMBER invites architects, designers, students, and enthusiasts of all skill levels to sharpen their pencils, explore the built environment, and share their creative interpretations. Whether sketching in ink, pencil, or digitally, this challenge offers a unique opportunity to connect with Sacramento’s architectural heritage through the power of drawing.
