Encaustic Workshop with Linda Nunes

Linda will be providing everything you need to complete your projects: panels, boards, encaustic medium, pigmented wax, some mixed media, heat guns, tools and a packet of written material.

To help you prepare for our time together, here’s a basic student list of items to bring with you ...

These are items you probably already have on hand.

- Pen or pencil - if you’d like to take notes

- Small scissors

- Small 4 oz. container for water

- Small inexpensive brush - ½” to ¾” is fine

- Apron - if you’re messy like most of us

- Ephemera ( this is optional, but it really makes your work more personal ).

This could include:

- Any kind of small 3D doo-dah you would like to try including in your art piece.

- Inexpensive, thin copy paper (favorites include old dictionary pages, vintage children’s books, sheet music, maps, technical diagrams, etc.) Not cardstock or glossy magazine pages

- Interesting lightweight fabric, netting, lace, decorative paper napkins, etc.

- Ink jet copies of photos - black/white or color (not original photos)

We’ll be working in a 5” x 5” format, so you can plan your images accordingly.

This workshop is Nonrefundable after October 1, 2026. All refund requests must be made in writing prior to October 1, 2026.
