About the event

Sacramento's Community Quilt Exhibit opens at 101 I Street on September 4th. The display features a quilt with over 500 names from 1876, discovered after 40 years in storage at First United Methodist Church.

A companion book enlarges the written names with QR codes linking to each block, inviting visitors to research the people and their connections to Sacramento.
