The Secret Garden in Elk Grove hosts Butterfly Fest September 12–13 and 19–20, 10 AM–2 PM, at 8450 W Stockton Blvd. Hundreds of Gulf Fritillary butterflies gather on passion vines; expect a guided life cycle tour at 11 AM daily, plants at 15% off, refreshments from Aroma Bakery, face painting, and activities for kids.
