About the event
Local author Dr. JaNay Brown-Wood will be reading from her new picture book, "Acacia: A Rapunzel Tale," a modern retelling of the classic fairytale.
Kids will have the opportunity to create their own fairytale self-portrait, and we will have a special princess appearance!
Feel free to come in costume and help us celebrate this new fairytale retelling. Free copies of Acacia will be available (while supplies last).
