Shed Sessions

Led by Daniel J Owens and Nate Furgason , the sessions are a way to learn jazz one tune at a time.

This month we cover: ALL the tunes we played in 2026!

At the beginning of every month, we choose a tune to dissect and learn it top to bottom. We talk about things like theory, improvisation, and exercises you can do at home to improve.

We meet every Wednesday of the month leading up to the Jam Session on the last Wednesday.

The Shed Sessions are a way to meet other musicians, learn about the history of jazz, and learn the music. The tunes are a list of frequently called tunes at jam sessions and college auditions.
