About
Jose Davalos turned a boarded up burger stand into a Franklin Blvd Mexican restaurant in 1970, and his son still runs the dining room. Regulars talk about the family feeling as much as the food, and the staff greet people like they have met before. Portions are large enough to be a running joke. There is a clearly marked vegetarian section and the beans are made without lard, which is rarer than it should be.
