Pro Tips Before You Go
- 🎈 Rancho Cordova runs two days. If Saturday looks packed, Friday's festival at Hagan Community Center has the same rides, food, and fireworks.
- 🅿️ Parking fills fast at the big outdoor venues. Elk Grove Regional Park and Sutter Health Park draw large crowds. Arrive early.
- 🎟️ Not everything is free. Tipsy Putt, Drake's, and the A's game all have a cost. Check each event page for pricing before you go.
- ☀️ Heat is real. It's July in Sacramento. Water, sunscreen, and a hat are not optional.
Sacramento has one of the better July 4th setups in California: multiple neighborhoods doing their own thing, a riverfront built for fireworks watching, and enough going on that you can piece together your entire day without repeating yourself. Go explore. Happy 4th.
