About the event
Sacramento's Community Quilt Exhibit opens Sept. 23 at 101 I Street.
The quilt, discovered at First United Methodist Church, features over 500 names written on its squares and was made for the nation's centennial in 1876. The exhibit includes enlarged images and QR codes linked to each block for genealogy research.
