Sacramento's Community Quilt Exhibit opens Sept. 18 at 101 I Street.
The quilt, stored for over 40 years at First United Methodist Church, features more than 500 names from Sacramento residents in 1876, with a companion book of enlarged images and QR codes tied to each block for genealogy research.
