“Help Wanted / Leave Now” Mass Deportation Exhibit

Help Wanted / Leave Now" opens Sept. 23 at the California Museum (1020 O Street).

The bilingual exhibit traces a century of U. S.

recruitment and mass deportation of Mexican laborers, anchored in the 1950s "Operation Wetback" campaign. It runs through January 10, 2027.
